GRACE COMMITTEE: Please read the letter coming home today with your youngest regarding the work of this committee dedicated to ensuring the presence of Catholic education in our area. This letter was an insert in the OLSH Church bulletin in early November; we are sending a copy of it home today in case you missed it. We want you all to be kept up-to-date on this process.
LIBRARY “THANKS”: The OLSH library would like to thank Caleb Von Lehmden, grade 6, for buying the seventh and final Harry Potter book for the library. His paper route is paying off! The book is now ready for checkout, and we will develop a waiting list for those interested. Thank you, Caleb!
CHRISTMAS SHOP: This year’s Christmas Shop will take place on Thursday and Friday, December 13 and 14, during school hours in the OLSH Community Room. The purpose of this Shop is to provide our schoolchildren with a place to buy inexpensive gifts for family members and friends. Donations of holiday gift items or handcrafted treasures will truly be appreciated. Individually wrapped Christmas candy is always a big hit! If you are able to donate items, please send them in to the school office with your children and let us know that they are intended for the Christmas Shop. Beginning Monday, December 3, anyone can stop in the Book Room of the school and sign out presents to be wrapped. Paper will be provided. We are looking for someone who is willing to chair the fundraising portion of the Christmas Shop. If you’d like to do this, help with the raffle during the sale, or have any questions, please contact April Vogt at 794-1617.
