PTO: Thanks to all of you who signed up to volunteer at our various events for this school year. We had a great response, but we still need chairpersons for the following committees: Spaghetti Dinner, Talent/Variety Show, Mother’s Day Flower Sale, and Kindergarten/First Grade Orientation. If any of these events appeal to you, don’t be intimidated—all of these committees have information folders and volunteers who have signed up to help. We just need a few more chiefs! If interested in more information or if you’d like to volunteer, contact Katie Leary at 563-0370.
MARKET DAY REPORT: Many thanks to all who purchased Market Day products. September saw 80 customers with a total sale of $4239.98. Our profit was $424. Thanks to all the volunteers who worked the delivery—adults and students. Thank you also to those who made reminder calls. Our October goal (in order for us to earn $400 in free books from Scholastic) is $4146.15 with 80 customers. (These free books will go to our school library.) Look for the October and Boo Bag order forms coming home next Friday, September 21. -–Barb Adelmann, Patty High, and Wendy Schworer, Market Day chairs
YEARBOOK: We still need volunteers to help with the first and fourth grade Yearbook pages. This requires only a minimum time commitment. Please contact Alison O’Neill at alisononeill@fuse.net if you can help.
SPORTS YEARBOOK PICTURES: Attention, all OLSH sports coaches—we would like to include all of the OLSH sports teams in the 2007-2008 Yearbook. Please contact Theresa Wessinger at 793-4766 to schedule a time to have your team’s picture taken. Theresa will come to a practice or a game to take the picture. Please help to ensure that every OLSH sports team is represented in this year’s Yearbook.
YAC WINTER SPORTS SIGNUPS: Sign up for girls’ volleyball and boys’ basketball after all Masses this weekend (September 15/16) and next weekend (September 22/23).
