PAUSE (PAWS) FOR PRAISE: Mrs. Gallenstein would like to nominate the
following sixth-grade students for staying behind during recess to clean
cafeteria tables—Katie Bohlen, Hallie Sansbury, Grace Kallenberg, and Leah
Anderson. Thanks, girls!
SPRING PICTURES:
If your child was in attendance on Thursday, April 19, he had his spring
picture taken. These pictures will be
sent home when we receive them in a few weeks.
At that time you can decide if you want to purchase or return all or
part of the portrait package.
COSI-ON-WHEELS:
We need a minimum of 12 additional volunteers in order to present the
COSI-ON-WHEELS program scheduled for May 2.
All grades will participate in this program. Please contact Alison O’Neill at alisononeill@fuse.net if you are able to help out.
YEARBOOK ORDERS:
Last call for yearbook orders. No
orders will be accepted after Friday, April 27.
We will calculate our total yearbook order based on the number of orders
we receive by this date; therefore, additional yearbooks will not be available
for purchase at a later date. Contact
Alison O’Neill with any questions.
TALENT SHOW:
Attention Talent Show Participants: There are still some programs left from last
month’s show. If you didn’t get your
souvenir copy and you’d like to have one, please call Tamara Anderson at
733-3077. All leftover programs will be
discarded after April 30.
Parents of Talent Show Performers: If your child was a performer in last month’s
Talent Show, please look for a very professional DVD recording of the show
coming home today in your child’s Friday packet. These DVDs are provided compliments of OLSH
parent Rick Schweikert and his friend, Ms. Gigi Gunckle, who works for a local
TV cable company. The service and cost
of producing the DVDs for the performers were completely donated. A very huge “thank you” to Mr. Schweikert and
Ms. Gunckle! If anyone should want
additional copies, they can be made available for $1 each. Please contact Mr. Schweikert (791-0058) or
Tamara Anderson if interested.
PSAS FORMS:
If you would like to apply for financial aid for the 2007-2008 school year, please contact the school office to have a Private
School Aid Service packet sent home with your child. The deadline is near, so please let us know
next week if you would like one of these packets.
READING LITTER CLEANUP DAY: Please see the flyer coming home today with
your youngest regarding this upcoming event.
Bicycle helmets will be available in conjunction with this day (April
28). Call Carol Bullock-Carpenter at
733-4857 for additional information.
SUMMER CAMPS:
Please check the bulletin boards outside the school office
when you attend Mass or if you are in the school building in the upcoming weeks
