FINAL FISH FRY:  Join us for our final Fish Fry for the season tonight, March 30.  Tonight’s special is mozzarella breadsticks.  We thank all of you for your support of this event!

MINISTRY FAIR:  The OLSH Parish Ministry Fair was a huge success!  We would like to thank the groups who participated, the student workers, and the parishioners for their attendance.  It was truly amazing!  Booth chairs—please remember to contact your new volunteers and turn in any remaining evaluation forms.

LIVING STATIONS:  Plan to be at church next Tuesday evening at 7:30 for our eighth graders’ moving portrayal of the Passion and death of Jesus through the Living Stations of the Cross.  You will have a second chance to experience these Stations when they are presented to the school on Holy Thursday at 1:30 p.m.  We welcome parents to both.   What a meaningful way to wrap up this Lenten season!

UNIFORMS:  Monday, April 2, is the first day OLSH students may wear shorts as part of their school uniform.  Please make sure that your child’s (especially the girls’) shorts are the appropriate (fingertip) length.  Refer to pages 23 through 25 of the Parent Student Handbook for further uniform regulations.  This is also a good time to check that your child has socks that cover the anklebone.  Warning:  Students wearing sweatshirts that are ripped in any way will no longer be allowed to wear them during the school day.  Take pride in your OLSH uniform and in how you look (and behave) while wearing it!

LAST LENTEN RAFFLE:  Our final raffles for this Lenten season will take place this coming week.  Congratulations to winners of last week’s raffle items:  Kristen Sutor (Easter bunny and basket); Maddie Hoffman (Ms. Schafer’s surprise gift); Chad Crable (candy basket); Collin McHugh (Mrs. Baker’s basket of cookies); Francine Gates, Gabby Orr, Christian Elfers, and Ryan Benson (out-of-uniform passes); and Alex Myers, Susan Hoffman, Evan Curry, and Sydney Zeuch (LaRosa’s Buddy cards).  Check with your child for a list of this coming week’s raffle items.  Our Nicaragua collection will end on Holy Thursday.  Please send in your donations by then.  We thank you all for your generosity and support!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:  We are looking for more packet (Friday folder) volunteers.  This requires an hour of your time after the 8:15 a.m. all-school Mass on Friday mornings (starting at approximately 9 a.m.).  If you are interested, please contact Heather Von Lehmden at 733-3337.  Thank you!

MARKET DAY:  Congratulations to Chris and Mary Walker, winners of our spiral-sliced ham at our March sale.  April order forms will be sent home with your children on Holy Thursday, with a return date of April 20.

We are still looking for a chairperson for next year’s Market Day program.

Please find in your child’s packet today a brief overview of a chairperson’s responsibilities.

If after reading this information you have questions or would like to “shadow” a sale,

please call Lisa Schoenberger at 733-4707.

YEARBOOKS:  Yearbook order forms sent home last Friday are due next Thursday, April 5.  If you did not receive an order form, please have your child get one from the school office.

TAKE CHARGE OF EDUCATION:  This past week we received a check in the amount of $280.13 from Target Stores.   We encourage parents to get involved in this easy way to support OLSH.  We use this money to fund field trips and events so that PTO doesn’t have to support all extracurricular activities.  Through their “Take Charge of Education” program, Target donates up to 1% of purchases made using the REDcard to eligible schools designated by their guests.    It doesn’t cost anything to sign up, and you can designate OLSH by visiting Target.com/tcoe, by stopping by the kiosk in your favorite Target store, or by calling 1-800-316-6142.
