SCHOOL PRIDE: Parents—please check your children’s school apparel for cleanliness, holes, rips, hanging hems, etc. Our uniform identifies us with Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School, and we should look like we are proud of that. The upcoming holiday would be a good time to take stock of the condition of all school clothing to see what needs to be repaired or replaced. Please also pay attention to your children’s personal appearance, particularly hair length. Thanks for your attention to these matters.

REGISTRATION FOR 2007-08: Registration materials for the 2007-08 school year will be coming home with your children before the Christmas break. Registration for currently enrolled OLSH students and their incoming siblings will be accepted from Wednesday, January 3, through Tuesday, January 16. After that date, registration will be opened up to students from Ss. Peter and Paul School, and then to interested students from other schools in the area. We cannot guarantee your unregistered child a spot in a class after January 16. All registrations must be accompanied by a $200 non-refundable fee per child ($400 per family maximum). We understand that this expense comes on the heels of the holiday; we are giving you this “heads up” for that reason and hope that the registration fee does not cause a financial burden at this time. We are holding registration early this year in order to determine class sizes for budgeting purposes.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT: Our Music teacher, Mrs. Raine, has been working with your children in preparation for a Christmas concert to be held on Tuesday, December 19, at 1 p.m. in the Activity Center. Plan to attend this concert that is sure to put you in the Christmas spirit!

BAND CHRISTMAS CONCERT: Band Director Mrs. Becky Jones invites everyone to a Band Christmas Concert, featuring OLSH’s Beginning and Advanced Band students, to be held on Monday, December 18, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium of Ursuline Academy.
