SPRING CLEANING? If you are in the midst of
spring cleaning and wonder what you can do with all those toys your children
have outgrown or just don't pay attention to anymore, send them to us! We have been asked by the girls at Ursuline
Academy to help them collect used toys to donate to Happen's Toy Lab (visit www.happeninc.com
or www.toy-lab.com
to learn more). These toys will be
weighed; Ursuline will receive a percentage of the price per pound assigned to
the weight, and they will donate this money to the inner-city schools' Outreach
Program. The types of toys that are
useable are small, plastic toys such as action figures, Barbie dolls, plastic
cars, airplanes, rubber animals, and Happy Meal toys. They cannot use plush toys, toys will a majority of metal
internal parts or that are liquid filled or have internal batteries. Send all useable toys to school, and we will
get them to Ursuline. Thanks for your
help.
CORRECTION: There was an incorrect date
in the calendar that was sent home last week.
We will return from Christmas break on Tuesday, January 3--not on
Monday, January 2 as stated in the calendar.
A more detailed calendar will be included in the school packets that
will be available in August before the start of school.
SPRING PORTRAITS: Your child
will be bringing home his spring portraits today. If you would like to purchase them, please fill out the order
form that is in the picture envelope and send it and any unwanted pictures back
to the school office. Checks should be
made out to Lifetouch. If you are not
interested in buying any of the pictures, please send the entire package back
to school with your child. We request
that all money and unwanted pictures be returned to us no later than next
Friday, May 13. Thank you.

Thank you.
LIBRARY VOLUNTEERS: If you
