ORGANIZATIONAL REPORTS
Nominating Committee - Jeanne Fisher announced that she will run for the PTO Treasurer position. There haven’t been any nominations for the PTO President position. Nominations will be accepted until the March PTO meeting. The list of candidates will be announced at the March PTO meeting; election of the 2007-2008 PTO Board members will occur at the April meeting.
Welcome Picnic - Jeanne Fisher has volunteered to chair this event. It will be held in August the weekend prior to school starting. All new OLSH students and their families will be invited.
Sherry Fortner will still chair the First Grade welcome event.
Market Day - Lisa was unable to attend. We are still looking for a chairperson for this fundraiser for next year. If we do not find a chairperson, we will have to consider eliminating Market Day.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
The issue of offering child care at PTO meetings was discussed. AT THE MARCH MEETING, CHILD CARE WILL BE OFFERED FOR THOSE PARENTS WHO WANT TO ATTEND A PTO MEETING BUT WERE UNABLE TO DO SO BECAUSE OF CHILD CARE ISSUES. Three OLSH students have volunteered their time to watch your children so you can attend the meeting.
Note: The Run, Jump-N-Play and Product Survey events were cancelled due to low participation.
The next PTO meeting will be held March 19 at 7:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parish Center. A representative from the Uniform Exchange committee will be bringing their stock with them to our next meeting.
Any questions, comments or suggestions about PTO should be directed to one of the Board Members listed on the front of this page.
