ORGANIZATIONAL REPORTS

Market Day - No report.  See above about income from September and October.

OLD BUSINESS

Pancake Breakfast - Katie reported that PTO made a profit of $537.18.  We co-hosted the breakfast with the Knights of Columbus.

PTO Surveys - Since Rick was unable to attend, we did not get an update on the PTO surveys.

Skating Party - We made $37.00 on the first skating party, and made the deposit on the next party scheduled for March 12, 2009.

Scholastic Book Fair - Debbie Stroh reported that we made a profit of $808.27.  They will hold a Spring book fair during the last OLSH fish fry.

Entertainment Books - We made a profit of $450.00.

The Next Best Thing - Karen Stevenson explained The Next Best Thing fundraising opportunity.  On December 11, from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., shop at The Next Best Thing store located on Kenwood Road in Blue Ash.  PTO will receive 10% of the proceeds from that night’s sales.

We discussed the impact that The Next Best Thing sale will have on the Christmas Shop.  It was decided that there should be minimal impact since we are dealing with different customers at each sale.  The PTO membership in attendance voted on this opportunity, and decided that PTO should host this event.  Look for more information in the Friday bulletin.

Burger Bash - Katie reported that after further discussion with Wendy’s in Evendale, that it was decided that this is not an opportunity we want to pursue.

Sixth Grade Election Process Project - Mrs. Osborne requested $350.00 for the Dewey’s pizza for Inauguration Day.  The PTO membership approved this amount.

NEW BUSINESS

Christmas Shop - Theresa Wessinger reported that things are going as planned.  The delivery of items is scheduled for November 20. Theresa also needs help wrapping  gifts, and is accepting donations of Christmas wrapping paper.  Call Theresa if you can help her with any of these items.  Theresa is looking for items for boys - $1.00 - $2.50 per item.  If you have anything, or see anything when you are out shopping, please call Theresa.  Call Theresa before you purchase anything.

Additional information will be sent home about the date and time each classroom will be visiting the Christmas Shop.
