April showers bring May flowers. That is certainly true in Victoria where in March and April of 2003 unusually high spring rains have produced an abundance of new green growth and many flowers. Our reservoir has never been so full. Credit: E Wiebe

                                               Happy Easter!

 Wesolego Alleluja!

(Polish for He is Risen!)

We are in the final stretches of this school year!

DO NOT LOSE FOCUS!

Keep your eye on the goals which you have set for yourself--and make them happen!

7th Grade History:  Chapter 8

8th Grade History: Chapter 11

8th graders had a great day visiting our Statehouse and Judicial Center in Columbus.  A BIG THANK YOU to Senator Finan for the personalized tour!  It is always an honor to be in the presence of the one who made many of the physical improvements to our capital building!

7th Grade Science: Shake, Rattle, and Roll--get ready for Earthquakes!

8th Grade Science:  Continuing the physics theme--"shifting" to work and machines-some can be so simple!

As always, our days are action-packed so PLEASE use your planner to stay organized.

Thanks to all of the Jr. High students who try in all that they do to be a good role model to the other students--from tucking in shirts, to speaking respectfully to everyone around them.  It is a real pleasure to be around you!  Be proud of yourselves!!

A reminder to stay healthy:

Wash hands often, keep your hands away from your face, eat well and get plenty of rest. Especially as our days get longer with more sporting distractions, being good to yourself is the best defense to staying well!
