The sixth grade classes at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School in Reading launched into the Middle Ages in their Social Studies class with the construction of a working catapult. With the help of their dads, two students researched and built a catapult and demonstrated its function. Each student in the classes then had the opportunity to try the catapult out. This certainly was a hands on experience for all.
