As part of the Right to Read Week, students at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School in Reading were treated to a solo performance by Kevin Locke, a Native American of the Lakota Nation. His program "Hoops of Life" featured traditional music played on the flute, cultural and historical stories and a mesmerizing hoop dance. His program stressed the roles and responsibilities we all share in the circle of life. Eighth grade studens joined him in a portion of the hoop dance.
