In remembrance of 9/11, the 5th and 6th graders at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart School in Reading met to reflect and discuss the importance of peace in the world.

The discussion centered around the lasting effects of the choices people make. After listening to the story Sadako and the 1000 Paper Crances, the students made their own orgami peace cranes to display in the hallway. A prayer service concluded the morning. As we gathered in prayerful thought, we also remembered those role models for peace and tolerance in the world.
